Series on the Bottom Line Cause of Health and Well Being: Water

[Note: This set of articles is for your education only. It is not intended as medical claims or treatment. I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice. I am sharing my own experiences as well as thos e of my clients.]Much of thew information on water came from in-depth study of classes created by Dr. Batmangheldj.]

I personally recovered my health following a life-altering brain injury when I learned about water–all about water: what you need, where to get it and how your body uses it. She shares this information so others may again enjoy optimal physical and emotional health.

Dr. Batmangheidj, a practicing physician in Northern Virginia, has been practicing for over 25 years, and his big cure is water.
Water.

He has gone into hospitals where people could not be helped by all kinds of medications, and all kinds of procedures. He gave them water and they got better almost instantly.
We are talking about a whole gamut of emotional things going on. Most emotional things, those too are fixed, not with psychotropic drugs, but with water. Almost all pain, other than something from an actual injury,  is due to dehydration.

You may remember back from high school biology, how does water get in and out of cells? It does that with salt.

So this whole thing about salt is not good for you, and causes high blood pressure–do your research. Discover the studies that led to the stop easting salt craze. Do your research for yourself.

As a practicing Specialized Kinesiologist I can show you why your body needs salt when your heart starts beating too fast, and you are panting and running out of breath going upstairs, and your legs get weak and your kneecap hurts.

You see, I had all those symptoms and went to a cardiologist-which I highly recommend you do to rule out any actual heart issues. But all my tests showed nothing abnormal with my heart or its functioning.

I was fortunate to discover a chiropractor who practiced kinesiology and demonstrated to me that all those symptoms resulted from a shortage of salt. As soon as he gave me salt all my symptoms disappeared and to this day, when those symptoms recur I test myself to see if I just need more salt and so far, more salt and more water has corrected those symptoms every time.

Headaches, migraines, all kinds of things are happening because you do not have enough water-and salt.

Edema. What about when you have swelling going on? That is because the water cannot get into the cells. It’s outside the cells.

You have two oceans in your body: one is inside the cells and one is outside the cells. Do you know what? I could go on and on because I actually give a 45-minute talk all about water.
What I want you to take away from this right now is the fact that when there is not enough water in the right places, the brain rations the water that is there.

So what do you suppose happens? Gradually the brain shuts down the less vital functions. You may then develop discomforts, conditions and ultimately disease.

Water and Salt for Optimal Health

Your body is electromagnetic. What do you need to conduct the messages from one neuron to the next? You need salt and water. That is what your body is made up of, 75% water. In fact, your brain is made up of 85% water. So think about this for a moment, your brain takes up about 1/50 of the whole mass of your body. And yet it uses 1/5 of the water you take in.

Now what does that tell you about water and mental functioning? Have you noticed how many people, surprisingly some of them are only in their twenties, joke about their senior moments, or their brain fog, or what they forget?

Chances are it is dehydration. Most people are short about two quarts of water. Most people think about drinking when they are thirsty. By the time you are thirsty, you may already be dangerously dehydrated.

Now how is a message going to be passed accurately from cell to cell if the water is not there, and if the salt is not in the water? Think about that one for a moment. It cannot happen.

Your body needs water. How much water? It needs enough water that it is assimilating and using in your body to equal one half your body weight-only in fluid ounces not pounds. So a person who weighs 100 pounds needs 100/2=50 ounces of water daily-spread over the course of the day. If you drink either alcohol or caffeine you need to add an additional 2 glasses of water to counter the dehydrating affects of each.

If you have the right kind of water, at the right pH with the right amount of oxygen, you do yourself a big favor in prevention because you are less likely to get sick, get hurt, or develop emotional conditions as easily or as seriously as you will if you fail to consume enough water and salt.

You can dramatically improve many aspects of your health simply by changing your water-consumption habits.

Ali Bierman recovered her health when she learned about water–all about water: what you need, where to get it and how your body uses it. She shares this information so others may again enjoy optimal physical and emotional health.

TMJ – A Misaligned Jaw Bone Does That?

Working as a specialized kinesiologist, I saw clear cases where ADD and ADHD were the result of bone misalignment. In fact, I could watch the sphenoid shift (that is a butterfly shaped bone behind the eyes) as a person went in and out of ADHD.

That is why someone with ADHD is an angel one moment and a terror the very next moment.
Consider chiropractic check-ups (or a specialized kinesiologist) to correct what has not yet caused symptoms to appear. It’s what you don’t know you don’t know is going on with your body that gets you every time! A session with a sacral-cranial therapist will benefit anyone. Be sure to see someone who does cranial work-gently and energetically for your health.

Most people, including most chiropractors, do not treat certain skeletal features – specifically the atlas – the top cervical vertebrae, which, when out of alignment, necessitates your spine to go out trying to balance your head atop the body!

And then there is the jaw bone – the transmandibular joint, commonly called the TMJ, that is responsible for 80% of your muscles and 90% of your neurology, i.e. are messages being accurately transmitted from the brain to their intended receivers?

Did you know that opening your mouth while your teeth are being cleaned sets your jaw out of place? So that pain in your foot may well be coming from a misaligned jaw! And those migraines and the ADD-also may be coming form a misaligned TMJ?

Surprising, isn’t it? So simple to treat yet so few medical people, and even so few alternative healthcare practitioners know those facts or how to correct them. The thing is, even bad misalignments can be corrected in one session.

For example, when I worked as a specialized Kinesiologist doing Kinergetics, I had a gentleman come to me with his jaw clicking, Now I went through 5 years of misery-mouth guard plus braces then retainer-and it all went out when a client hit me in the TMJ! ARGH!

Well, that gentleman left me three hours later-no jaw clicking, TMJ properly aligned. Three hours. Not 5 years of pain and expense-and torture. Ever wear braces that cut your cheek?

Series on Optimal Health: TMJ

The Secret Hardly Anyone Knows For Optimal Health

One of the most important aspects of your health is the status of your jaw joint, also known as the TMJ.

Do you have clicking with your jaw? Does your jaw ever get stuck open? Mine used to very many years ago. It gets really painful. Do you ever hurt when you open your mouth wide?

Here is the thing–simply going to the dentist to get your teeth cleaned, and the process of opening your mouth that wide and all of the shifting around you do with your jaw–it throws your jaw out of alignment.

Here is a some surprising information: your jaw being aligned is responsible for 80% of your physical body working right and being properly aligned, and 90% of your neurology functioning accurately.

When the jaw is out of place, it causes muscles to pull skull bones out of place. That’s when you wind up with certain areas of the brain developing more than others–because they have extra space that should not be there.

At the same time those misaligned skull bones cause other areas to develop less because there is not enough space for the brain to grow there.

All of the work that I do in kinesiology is an energetic fix. It is very easy to put the jawbone back in place.

In fact, frequently when I work with people and their hip goes out, or their ankle hurts or their knee hurts, I can show them in five seconds that the reason that it is out and they are experiencing pain is because their jaw is out.

All kinds of things–from ADD to ADHD, from pain going on in muscle joints, headaches, of course anything going on with your jaw, the list just goes on and on and on–all those things may be off because your jaw is out of place.

I first learned that information from a chiropractor who showed me that my jaw was out of place. That is why my hip kept going out of place. That is a helpful kind of thing to know because then I understood how to take care of myself.

In fact, I teach a three-hour class on how you can take care of putting your jaw in place yourself, all energetically, by knowing where and how to place your hands, and letting the Universe do the work of sending the energy.

To give you an idea of how important jaw alignment can be-after I suffered a brain injury in the 1990s, I lost my short-term memory. Try to follow or carry on a conversation without a short-term memory! Anyway, as I studied kinesiology and we students worked on each other, the simple re-alinging of my TMJ gave me back my short-term memory-instantly.
